Yoga, derived from a Sanskrit word, is a set of disciplines, bordering along the lines of physical, mental and spiritual activities, or exercises, having an overall effect of good health and mind on the body. Asanas to Cure Diabetes
The Shalabhasana is one of the yoga postures, curing the problems of acidity and releasing nervous tensions and solving issues arising from digestive disorders. This exercise is performed by lying down straight on the ground, with your abdomen touching the floor. This is followed by inhaling and lifting both legs off the ground, and then they are brought back to the original position. This process is repeated by applying pressure on the wrists. This formulates the free flow of energy in your body and cures issues like diabetes, with no side effects.
The next asana is the mayurasana, or the peacock pose. In this exercise, you have to lie down on your abdomen and life your whole body off the ground, remaining parallel to the floor. Paschimotasana is another asana performed to treat diabetes in human beings. It affects the pancreas and stimulates it to function more accurately in the body. For this, you need to sit on a yoga mat and stretch out your legs in front and then bend your head to touch the knees, while exhaling completely. Grasp your toes with your fingers, and maintain this position for some time. Repeating this asana everyday for 2-3 times will help you get rid of diabetes.
